In 2025, CORLEO existed only as a concept. How is it beginning to take shape? Safe Adventure is a long-term project spanning nearly a decade. Now, it is finally coming into full view.
Humans are endowed with the Impulse to Move, an instinct through which we derive happiness from the act of moving. A new form of mobility that can satisfy this impulse is CORLEO, showcased by Kawasaki Heavy Industries at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
A riding simulator that will serve as the development platform for CORLEO will be developed. CORLEO’s ride feel will be fine-tuned by leveraging a test course thoroughly reproduced in virtual space.
A new model of CORLEO is planned to be unveiled at Expo 2030 Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The project will finally enter a phase in which people can ride the actual vehicle. We also envision CORLEO being used as an official on-site mobility vehicle for security officers at the Expo. Also, we plan to create a new category of esports using the riding simulator.
At last, CORLEO—equipped with all the necessary functions for walking, running, jumping, and off-road adaptation—will be released mainly for the tourism and leisure industries.
