Kawasaki Plant Systems, Ltd. made a new start in April, 2007 by merging with Kawasaki Environmental Engineering, Ltd., the former environmental business division that spun off from Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd.
Kawasaki has been operating its plant and environmental businesses since the 1960's to significantly build up industrial infrastructures and social capital at home and abroad with cement and chemical plants, boilers and urban waste treatment facilities. The dawn of the new millennium has shed a new light on the global business landscape in which we conduct our plant and environmental businesses. Obligations under the Kyoto Protocol and the environmental burden posed by the rapidly growing economies of the BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India and China) countries and others have made environmental protection and improving infrastructures designed to save natural resources a priority.
Working against this backdrop, Kawasaki Plant Systems, Ltd. has combined the technological know-how it has gained over the years with the synergetic effect of the merger between its plant and environmental divisions to give its customers as well as the global community the superior technologies and products in the fields of energy, industrial infrastructure and environmental protection they need.
