In recent years, environmental problems
caused by energy consumption have become a more and more prominent
threat to the earth. The prevention of further damage relies
largely upon the reduction of CO2
emissions. The energy efficiency of Kawasaki Gas Turbine Co-Generation
Systems contributes to the prevention of global warming and
therefore reduces the burden on the environment.
Kawasaki launched experimental operation of the first gas turbine
of its own development in 1972, and brought the gas-turbine-driven
power generation unit to the market in 1976. Since then, the
company has continued to develop more advanced gas turbines
and expand its lineup of power generators. Presently, the range
of co-generation systems and combined cycle systems extend from
600kW to 50MW classes, and that of backup power generators extend
from 200kVA to 6000kVA.
With know-how acquired from more than thirty years of experience
in gas turbine development and total system engineering, Kawasaki
is constantly contributing to the protection of the global environment
and the creation of a bright future for all.
