M-series
Maximum payload 700kg. Incorporating a compact profile design with long reach and high wrist torque.
This powerful robot has a max. payload of 700kg. Its superior design gives it the power to lift and manipulate heavy loads with great ease and high accuracy. Its profile is compact through use of an advanced link structure in JT3. Using advance design techniques in motor technology, the unit has achieved a high wrist torque.
The M-series robots are ideal for lifting engines, manipulating car bodies, handling of large tools between processes in the automotive field, the handling of large castings, rocks, construction materials, and large domestic appliances in the general industrial field.
Features
- Compact profile High payload robots conventionally require a large counterbalance weight which increases interference and reduces the work envelope. Innovative design of an advanced link structure (patent pending) has reduced interference and increased work envelope by eliminating this redundant counterbalance.
- High wrist torque A high wrist torque of 5,488 N・m has been achieved with the MX70N by utilizing the high power motors, normally only used in the major axes, across all 6 axes. This enables the rated payload to be carried at a significant offset from the wrist flange surface.
- Fully equipped safe design With collision detection and vibration suppression control software the robot can manipulate heavy loads smoothly and safely. In addition, mechanical stoppers and limit switches are provided as options for the major axes.

Selectable model variations
Four standard models are the MX700N, 500N, 420L and 350L (max. payload 700, 500, 420 and 350 kg respectively). The MX700N and 500N have a max. reach of 2,540mm, Thee MX420L and 350L have longer arms. The MX500N, 420L and 350L are convertible retrospectively.
In addition, a shelf mounting type, MT400N and palletizing robots, the MD400N and 500N are also available.
