Due to the rise in global cost competitions, it has become the essential matter for the survival of the enterprises, to innovate agilely the business processes, breaking through the past, outdated customs and practices, and utilizing IT(Infor-mation Technologies) such as ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) and network techniques. Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. has consolidated the scientific approach called"KHI Soft-VE". This report describes the background of this scientific approach and the outline of the methodology.
