The market is demanding increasingly-sophisticated industrial steam turbines,especially the ability to extract a large amount of steam with a two-stage high-and low-pressure turbine.
Kawasaki Heavy Industries,Ltd.(KHI)has therefore designed a two-stage internal extraction steam turbine based on its extensive experience with turbines. The first two orders were installed at a cogeneration plant and one of which has been running commercially since June 1996, to the customer's complete satisfaction.
