2-stroke marine diesel engine

Kawasaki manufactures marine diesel engines under a licensing agreement with MAN Diesel & Turbo. Working against the backdrop of IMO (International Maritime Organization) Tier III NOx regulations slated to go into effect in 2016, Kawasaki is moving ahead with ongoing tests using a production-scale two-stroke diesel test engine. Kawasaki will work to quickly incorporate test results into its current product lines as it continues to build on technological developments related to marine vessels with an eye to saving the environment.
