XC-2 Transport Aircraft

The XC-2, which is to take over the C-1 and other aircraft as the next-generation transport airplane, is used in war situations as well as outside Japan such as for international cooperation and emergency aid operations.

The XC-2 is a domestically developed and manufactured aircraft using new aircraft systems. With its latest technologies, the XC-2 flies faster and has greater range, heavier useful load, and larger cargo compartments than the C-1 and other current-generation aircraft to fulfill a wide range of duties such as international support operations.
