C-1 Medium Transport

The C-1 Medium Transport has greatly contributed to the transportation capabilities of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force by improving short take-off and landing (STOL), which is an essential ability for tactical transport aircraft, through a high-lift system consisting of a leading edge slat and four-stage fowler flap. This aircraft is also equipped with the latest electronic navigation devices which enable it to fly at night and in all types of weather.
