The Chief Environmental Officer is in charge of Kawasaki's overall environmental management activities. Under his leadership, the Corporate Environment Committee is held each year to plan and evaluate the three-year Environmental Management Activities Plan and the annual Environmental Activity Priority Initiatives.

　In each internal company, Environmental Management Officers formulate their own three-year activities plan. The Environment Management Committees are gathered twice a year to follow-up on their activities.
