　COMPANY PROFILE

ASMB(Akashi Ship Model Basin) has a large towing tank to provide hydrodynamics experimental research of ships and offshore structures with the highest accuracy and the minimum lead time.

1971	：	The Akashi Ship Model Basin Co.,Ltd.(ASMB) was established by joint investing of Kawasaki Heavy Industories Ltd.(KHI) and Hitachi Zosen Corporation(HZ).
1973	：	The first test was started.
1974	：	ASMB obtained ITTC Member Organization.

2002	：	HZ withdrew and ASMB became a solely owened subsidary of Kawasaki Shipbuilding Corporation.

2010	：	ASMB became a solely owened subsidary of Kawasaki Heavy Industories Ltd.(KHI).
